Assay fluxes
Assay fluxes are primarily used in fire assay for Gold, Silver and PGM’s.
Protea Mining Chemicals operates a production facility in Wadeville, Johannesburg where we produce a wide range of lead and nickel based fluxes in dedicated plants and under tight quality control procedures. The range of lead based fluxes is used in both gold and PGM assay while the nickel based fluxes offer improved collection in PGM assay. In addition to our standard range of assay fluxes we also have the capability to custom produce fluxes in accordance with specific customer formulations.
